Village Roadshow Entertainment Group & Animal Logic Internship
The internship is open to Australian film business undergraduate students and recent graduates, who “demonstrate significant potential in their areas of expertise”.
The program involves working with Village Roadshow Pictures and Animal Logic executives in Los Angeles to gain hands-on experience in developing, acquiring, packaging and producing feature films for the international market.
Village Roadshow Pictures was a major financier of Mad Max: Fury Road, American Sniper and The Lego Movie among others.
Valued at $20,000, the internship will run from January-March 2016 with living and travel expenses for the three-month term covered while the recipient gets invaluable work experience in the Hollywood studio system.
Applications must be submitted to Australians in Film by AEST Friday, October 2 at 10am.

Cayte Latta Memorial Award for Visual Art
Have you created an artwork with a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Intersex (LGBTI) theme?
Now in its ninth year, The Honour Awards will present AUD$1000 to the winner of the competition.
Named in the honour of the late leading LGBTI activist Cayte Latta, the award recognises visual art that expresses, interprets or explores issues or themes affecting the LGBTI community. Eligible mediums are: photography, painting, drawing, video, filmmaking, printmaking or graphic design.
Nominations close Wednesday, August 26 at 5pm.
